Solar Energy

In Fall 2016, Scarborough Manor installed solar panels on the roofs of Buildings 1 and 2 and the Clubhouse.  This installation is part of an overall energy conservation effort and will help reduce overall energy costs.

LED Lighting

Also in Fall 2016, Scarborough Manor replaced the lighting in all common areas with LED lights, which will enable the complex to reduce energy costs.

Security and Concierge Services

For the security and convenience of our residents, Scarborough Manor has a manned 24X7 Gatehouse that screens visitors.   In addition, our Security Guards accept packages at the Gatehouse and deliver them to residents as they drive in.     In 2020, Scarborough installed Building Link Software that allows residents to communicate maintenance requests, reserve amenities and receive notices of package deliveries at the Gatehouse.

Other Recent Initiatives

Scarborough Manor has, over the past few years, also installed energy-efficient windows, energy-saving front-loading washing machines on all floors, and is working on a paperless environment wherever possible.
