Transportation
Scarborough is conveniently located near Route 9, with close access to major highways such as the Taconic Parkway, Saw Mill Parkway, and the Sprain Parkway.
For those who prefer to take alternative transportation, the Metro-North Scarborough station (local stop only) is about 3/4 of a mile from Scarborough Manor, just a short walk or drive from the property. This station serves Scarborough and Briarcliff Manor via the Hudson Line, a commuter rail line running north from Grand Central Terminal, NYC. along the east shore of the Hudson River. Parking at the Scarborough train station is paid via a parking app. The Ossining train station is a 10-minute drive and is an express stop with available parking for a small fee.
Trains leave for New York City every 25 to 35 minutes on weekdays. The station is 28.7 miles (46.2 km) from Grand Central Terminal and travel time to Grand Central is about 42 minutes on the express and 61 minutes on local service.
